WTB: 71-72 Lucy Blue TA Very Rusty but complete
Okay here's a shot in the dark.
I'm looking for a 71-72 Lucy Blue 455 HO Trans Am in very rusty condition. I don't care about the interior color, if it has A/C, or if it's an auto or manual. PM me with leads or email me at [email protected] Thanks Rob |
I have been looking for the same, although I don't want a really rusty one. Seems like they are impossible to find now.

I guess I am way more particular than both of you. I want a 70-72 Lucy Blue 4 sp Non-Air with a black or white interior. And no... I can't find one either.
There is an automatic for sale in Florida... Good Luck with your search http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/3335922251.html BTW - RAJ7395 why do you want a VERY rusty one? |
BTW - takid455 was selling a 4 speed car earlier this year. Not sure if he sold it or not. See link.

Hi guys!
I figured the good ones are all taken (or out of my price range) and I'd have a lot better chance finding a very rusty one. So far, my theory isn't panning out. Hopefully, the right person will read this and I'll get my chance. Rob |
When they do come up for sale, prices seem high, even for total rust buckets or cars that are incomplete.

Hi Rob, remember my '72 blue/white interior column shift auto (console delete) with AC and 8-track?
Numbers match engine. PQ transmission from another '72 TA. If your interested, you may want to revisit this car. My 4spd is undergoing a concour restoration, and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to tackle the auto car behind it. It has moderate rust, is completely apart and ready for some TLC. If you or any others are interested, contact me and I'll share more details. Thanks, Greg [email protected] |

Hi Greg,
I could never forget about your 72 Lucy blue TA that was born the same week as me! I'm stuck in parts collection mode for my 69 and 70 TAs. I enjoy the hunt for rare parts but really need something to wrench on to keep me from going insane. So... I put a deposit on a NOM 71 455 HO Lucy Blue TA 4 spd a couple weeks ago. Should be a good toy to play with. Rob |
Hi Rob, congratulations on the new toy!
