Anyone have a picture or know of one on the internet of #7 ?

What I have is a Camaro swivel for an automatic. I have resorted to making my own by straightening the arm out but I do not know the measurement of the arm. If someone knows the measurement of the arm it would be a BIG help.

This is one of the two I have, couldn't find the other tonight, mine was a th400 column shift car

Here is what I have. What I have pounded out is an automatic swivel. I pounded the arm straight and now need the shorter measurement for the manual transmission.

I don't understand why you pounded out the arm straight, was it to make it work on a 4-speed? If you need one of these swivels for the 4-speed I have one. If you're just looking for the measurements that'll be tough. Even the fairly straight arm has a slight bend in it. I'm sending you what I have, see if this helps. I also have the rod that runs from this swivel to the reverse linkage on a 4-speed muncie tranny.

What is in the car is a three speed cast iron Saginaw. The reason that I straightened the bar is that another Cammer with a 69FB Sprint said that the bar was straight. The car that I got this one from was an automatic.

The bar I have (Camaro) is made from cheap steel and when heated it is very easy to manipulate. I am trying to get the right profile for it to work on this transmission. It appears that there are MANY profiles for these things.

The worst is/was that I have never seen one before an hour ago LOL ! so I have been working on it blindly. This 69FB year is really a tough one since it is a one off for everything. So far the help here at PY has been amazing. When I get something replaced/repaired or find some new info I'll post it to share. Finding info about some of these basic parts is very tough if not impossible. Of course I had to pick an extremely rare one off FB with a funky OHC engine haha.

I do enjoy the hunt for parts and learning ho to fix/install/repair this car.

I really hear you brother on the 69! You've got one up on me with the Sprint, so i'll say an extra prayer for you tonight...
