Pulled the passengers side vent and found my problem. I am missing the reducer part that has the felt on it. It slides inside the vent housing and then reduces down for the hose to attach. Not reproduced.....andyone have any?

I was able to MacGyver some using some Vintage Air pieces. Worked very well. I had to glue the adaptors in. Unfortunately I cannot remember which pieces but they were the adaptors supplied with the VA Gen IV kit for a 64 GTO. You can download the instructions and part numbers online.

Have a set of these , part # on item is 3856471 2 5/8" o.d. for the hose . May be from 67 - 69 Fbird .

That part is reproduced, I bought two of them for my 64. I'm not home now, but I believe I bought them from Ames. Not an exact duplicate, but functional. Ames also sells a felt kit.

Actually, that picture you posted is the reproduction.

Yep, Ames makes them...$36 each plus freight for plastic flanges...a little steep for me....

Check the Chevy parts suppliers. I am sure that they were tooled up for Chevys, not Pontiacs. I got the balls on ebay from the Chevy guy who appeared to be the one who tooled them up. He was selling blems for a good price at the time. Couldn't tell the difference when they were installed.
