More paint questions
 

Another check on paint to get things detailed right. What color are the hood hinges on a 61. From what pictures I can find in my black and white shop manuals I think they were a dull zinc plating. I have seen pictures of supposedly original or pro restored with everything from black to aluminum paint. I may need to order some of the zinc look paints from Eastwood. And as neer as I can tell the hood latch and some other things like the coil and fuel filter brackets as well as the throttle bell crank that bolts to the manifold should also be zinc. Previous owner did try to dress things up but I think he went over board with the black.
