PUI quarters and arm rests?

Has anyone bought PUI quarter panels and arm rests for a convertible?

I've seen the posts with positive comments about the PUI door panels. I'm going to order some for my '62 convertible. But I also need the rear quarter panel, and the arm rest covers. PUI makes them all, and I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten them.

I ordered my rear arm rest covers ,door panels and side panels, along with '65 GTO seat covers because they weren't making '62 seat covers yet. I had the arm rests and door panels special order in dark blue to match the seats. I'm very pleased with them.

Double wow. Both cars are gorgeous. I'll definitely get the panels and arm rests. And now I'm re-thinking my plan for custom seats. That "a la page" interior look is just SO good.

Not finding much for PUI on the internet. Looks like their stuff starts with 64 "A" car. Need 63 headliner? John

Hi John - PUI stands for Parts Unlimited Inc. They are the manuafacturers and only deal with dealers not the general public. See website below. As I mentioned many times before, elsewhere on this forum, AMES is the only Pontiac parts supplier (dealer) that has a dedicated 61-3 Tempest catalog. They work closely with PUI, Trimparts and REM for interior parts. You can download a catalog from AMES site or call them for a free hard copy. If you were a member of the Little Indians, one should have been mailed to you last Oct/Nov. I hope this helps. They pretty much have anything you need for your interior.

Both interiors look great guys! Would Ames carry the interior pattern I have in these pics? or am I looking at an upholstery shop. The pattern is on my 63 Tempest. If not, I may lean towards the fawn/beige color.

I did not see any bench seat covers listed in the Ames catalog. You may want to take some detailed photos and send them to PUI. I did that last year and they added the 68 Grand Prix covers to their product line.

I met Todd Bidwell from PUI and he said they are willing to make any Tempest interior part needed, like door panels and seat covers.

My friend got everything she needed for her 63 Tempest 4 door interior from SMS Interiors. She said its not cheap but it was worth it. She has the cloth interior with the vinyl tops similar what i have attached. She paid $450 for each of the seat tops with the white design in it.

Does anyone know if the Tempest convertible rear armrests for the 62-63's are the same for the Nova's? I'm almost positive they are the same for the skylark and Olds F-85.

I'm looking to purchase a new interior and PUI doesn't have a "code" for the armrest covers but I was told by AMES their item LA158 is made by PUI. I'm "assuming" that AMES orders the Nova covers and just changes the material and color.

If you got nice bases and material you can just cover the tops yourself.
