Lorens's car is in better shape, 15,000 original miles, 301 4bbl, bucket seats, Chesterfield Brown with Tan Cloth interior.

But may not be as loaded as you are looking for, it is a A/C delete car, no Power seats, but does have Gauge Package, & Pwr Steering and Brakes.

It is in exellent Survivor condition, it still has all the Factory markings on it.

He is asking $6500.00

If you are interested I can put you in contact with him.

He is selling as he is a Drag Racer and he was going to put a 455 in it, but it is to nice a car in his opinion to cut up. I can say the the like new Chesterfield brown paint is a more attractive color than I would have ever thought.

Is your buddys 15000 mile car have bucket seats?

camerjeff 04-08-2013 05:25 PM

Yes,

The last post reads 301 4bbl, Bucket Seats, ect... It also has a console and Floor shift Auto.

He says it was ordered as a GP Sport Coupe, I am not that familure with the 78-80 cars. Other than my Mothers old 78 301 4-speed car that she sold in the late 80's

79 Grand Prix 301 engine swap

I'm curious what motors could be easily swapped into a 79 GP?
It's currently a running 301, just would like something with a little more HP to play with ;)

Not all of them are needing restoration.
This auction was ended abruptly after being relisted multiple times. Don't know if that means they sold it. It's a NICE one.

There was another Jadestone green w/landau in Moline IL five years ago that had only 9,000 actual miles. It was on the GBodyForum.com I just came across it looking through Bing Images. Don't know if the guy ever sold it, but I'd guess so. That was just before the economy went down the tubes.
He thought it was a rare color, but actually it was a very popular color.

Loaded except no power windows.

red1975pacer 09-13-2013 11:21 PM

Thanks. I followed the one from Florida, I think the reserve was around 15K. Wasnt crazy about the color. My 79 LJ Tops, Leather buckets, FACTORY real spoke rims, was copper brown. At this point still looking for a good replacement. I know its just a matter of time. I have a buddy checking at the big car shows {Auburn, Carlisle, Hershey, Charlette, Believe me their not easy to find. Another guy told me he really hasnt seen alot for sale since "back in the day". Remember alot of black and gold ones, but they all seemed to fade away.
