69 Ebrake
 

Anybody got pics of both sides of a 69 E brake or maybe just the pull rod? I have 2 extra units but they must be 68s because there is no way you could bolt them in and the handle would clear the bottom of the dash on my 69.

I have a couple '69's on my workbench at home. I can get a pic for you Thursday if nobody else posts one before then.

That first one does help. At least I can see what happened to mine. It seems mine was broken right where the pull rod connects to the unit. Everything behind(or forward) is gone. My handle has always just hung down and laid on the pedal because there was nothing to hold it up.

Tom, I could still use a little closer view of the pull rod if you can get one.

Bob, It could also be a Camaro version. They are different even in 69

I have two spare 68 version units. They are exactly the same as the one in my 9 except for the pull rod configuration.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like it's just going to be easier for me to make a bracket to hold the front of the handle up than to try and remake the whole pull rod. It's really not worth buying a whole new unit to r&r just so the handle stays put. The easiest solution is usually the best right?
