best primer for endur bumpers on an 80 TA

workin on my sons 80 TA. I have the shell sprayed with Z-chrome and will be doing the rest of the sheet metal with that as well. blocking with 180 and 220.going to follow up with two to three coats of dupont best gray primer ( cant remember the number ) and finish sanding with 320 and 400. now to my question. what is the best primer for the front and rear bumper. did'nt want to use the Z-chrome as is it very thick. there is no flex addidtive
for the dupont primer either. I have heard of some flexable primers but was wounder what others have used. thanks Mike

For the endura process, See Paulatfast's posts in this thread. (not sure why this isn't a sticky post yet)

I used the SPI epoxy primer on the endura and can vouch for its ease of sanding ability.

I think you are going to want to step more than from 180 to 220. Not much of a difference in grit there.

Paulatfast knows what he's talking about. My endura was done a year ago using his method and it looks perfect. Barry at SPI is a great guy to talk to if you have any other questions. Their tech line phone number is his cell number and he will answer the phone darn near 24/7.

I used Northstar Epoxy primer with no flex additive. No issue's so far. (1 year since application).
