Just got back from Reno, NV. after picking up my new Bonnie. Drove it home to the Salt Lake City area and averaged 18 mpg.

On the trip I drove the car at 70 mph. Used about 1/2 quart of oil over a 600 mile trip which is not unusual but actually very good.

Car has been in my driveway for 2 days and there is not a drop of anything under the car!!

I got the car from the original owner. He is a millionaire but drove this car when He could have driven any car he wanted. Cal. title. It is a 4 dr. ht with a 428, and a 3.08 posi.
The first picture is at his sons house. under body is rust free but has a little around the top of the rear wheel wells. I didn't get the rear skirts but he is going to check and see if he has them.

Car has been driven. He drove it a lot. But ran great on the trip. Premium of course.

Just have the picture from when I picked it up. I will post some more soon.

Great looking car. There's nothing better for a long road trip than a big old Bonneville. :)

Nice looking car. And 18 mpg is way better than my Expedition...and much cooler.

Driving 18 ft 8 inches of a car is a great feeling. I know the feeling ! Good looking Bonnie!

I used to have a 69 Catalina, I dig those front ends. Nice car you have! If you ever get evicted you can live in those cars!

Did you find your Bonneville while at Hot August Nights or was it just a coincidence that you picked up your car during the Hot August Nights event?

Wow, who needs overdrive with an 18 MPG average at those speeds. :)

Beauty... have become a real fan of the big 4 doors as of late. Good luck and happy cruising!

Welcome, Darksider. You know what they say about men with large cars. :D

That's certainly a keeper. As my daddy would have said "All it needs is road under the wheels". Drive it and enjoy!

I have always been a fan of 4 doors, growing up in a family of 7 kids we always had a 4 door and a wagon. Is it a original Crystal Turquoise paint car?
