Changed oil/filter on my 64 today. put on the filter and marked the spot where the "AC" on the filter would be seen. took the filter off and installed the decal ,worked great .

What brand oil filter did you use? Did it come plain white or did you have to paint it or remove some other decal?

Purolator L30005. It has a white base with blue/red silk screen on it. use thinner to remove the screening, then apply the PF-7 decal with soapy water so you car get the proper placement. other decal vendors may not require soapy water. pictured is a Purolator L30005 painted blue and a 1962/1963 decal
