You can't find anything on them because as usual, the brand is misspelled. OBX is the brand and they are cheap Chinese knockoffs, you get what you pay for. Here's a whole post about them: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...&highlight=obx Some people said they're okay, some didn't like them very well. |
Sorry my typing skills suck big time. OBX Sold by Racing Parts.com
For what vehicle? I searched obx and the part number and still didn't find anything.
Part no. H11989 Sold on ebay for 64-7 GTO set them down with a picture of doug,s and they look identical. OBXGenuine Products & design of USA obx

Awesome quality... thick stainless tubing, beautiful tig welds and extra thick flanges but I guess that all goes to crap if they don't fit! I have a set of OBX headers on my turbo sbc and love them but apples and oranges. |
I may sell my Indian Adventures Rich in about a month after doing some dyno testing with them. Install in 20 minutes wi motor sitting in car.
Maddogs fit great in my 71 Ventura
I've used Hooker Super Comps and Dougs with no signficant problems.
I have Doug's round port on my 65, 69 & 70. Love'm
Doug's headers are the best I have installed.
Maddogs on my Bird, great fit and quality!
 |
All this talk about fit, what about power? Just sayin

Even what some would consider a small change in engine position, can indeed have a big impact when it comes to something like header clearance. Hard to say for sure though. Bret P. |
So you have an American muscle car with Chinese headers... LOL
Dougs on my 65, fit with no clearance issues.
Dougs on my 73 F-body. Very minor flatening of #2 tube going over the sub frame for extra twisting effort clearance. Plenty of room at oil filter and the big starter fit with 1/4" clearance.
