Windshield Source for 71 Lemans Wagon?

We have finally started to work on our long sleeping 71 Lemans Wagon, and as I removed the broken windshield about 10 years ago. Now I need a replacement, Does anyone know of a source for a tinted Wagon or 4-door Windshield? A quick online search, and some local shops have been unsuccessful.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

Jeff, did you try Belle Tire, Harmons Auto glass, Hendersons, NPD?:)

Try your local auto glass shop. Less than $200 for one put in here. No date codes just a windshield (with the antenna in it). Mine was at Speedy.

Well I always thought the 4-door and wagon windshields were different tan the 2-doors, but evidently not on 68-72 Abody's I called NPD and they say they have a tinted one in stock with Anntenna for $150, I plan on picking it up Friday.

Thank everyone

I still say, check your local glass shop and see how much, including installation, unless you are going to install it yourself. If they break it they have to get a new one at no cost to you. Just saying.

Good deal Jeff. One of these days you can pick up the the 15" Rally II trim rings or I can come to your house. Not this weekend or the next. :)

Jeff,
That was what I always thought to be the case also, converts from 68-72 were approx 1" shorter than 2 dr htps & 4 dr ~ wagons were approx 1" taller.

I have a 68 Tempest wagon & I can tell you for a fact the w/s trim side pieces are 23" long & the 2 dr htp side trim is 22" long. Now if the 70-72 4 dr glass is different from 68-69 (other than the w/s antennae) I couldn't say.

I would call a local glass shop to confirm the w/s is the same before I took NPD's word on it.

Hollander interchange book shows 3 different numbers for Lemans windshields for that year. They are NOT all the same.

Thanks Steve,

That is what Always Thought, 2 door HT & Post, Convertible a little Shorter, & 4-door and Wagon as a 3rd style. Looks Like I am still searching for a windshield.

Well I finally received the correct windshield for the wagon, thanks to all that helped out. Believe it or not it is NOS!!!!

Where did you find it & how bad was the $ if you don't mind telling?

I don't need one for my wagon (yet!) but it's good to know who has them.
