I am trying to find a source to purchase some of these wire holders. I don't know the technical name and I have not been able to find any on the internet that has the correct push barb for a 1/8 hole.

Does any one know where to purchase some of these?

I couldn't find any, wound up having to use 1/4" ones.

Are these what you are looking for?

Those are for a 1/4 " hole. I'm looking for some that go in a 1/8 hole.

Thanks anyway.

Where on the car did they used those? I have had several '63 Lemans convertibles almost all the way torn down and I don't recall seeing anything like that before. Mine cars all had the ones that look like an arrow where they push in.

these were on the rear tailight harness and pushed into the taillight panel under the tailights this was a sept 67 built firebird.

I did. I went through http://www.americanautowire.com/ to get the correct holder. They do not have them listed but they did include one on one of my wire harnesses so I knew they had them. I called and got them sent to me.

Do you have a part number? Or some way that they will be able to know what I'm talking about.

silverbullet07 04-01-2014 07:57 AM

No sorry. They just stuck them in a bag and sent them to me. How many you need?

AdamIsAdam 04-01-2014 08:28 AM

I'm not sure. I just ordered a new rear harness for my 64. How many do you think I need, do I reuse the ones that are there? I haven't taken a close look yet

AdamIsAdam 04-01-2014 08:45 AM

How do these attach to the harness?

silverbullet07 04-01-2014 08:56 AM

You wrap them on it.

AdamIsAdam 04-01-2014 09:12 AM

Makes sense. I just ordered a new rear harness. I wonder if that comes wrapped? and if it's got those clips in there already. Any clue? I ordered them from PY

silverbullet07 04-01-2014 09:22 AM

Mine harness was wrapped with clips but had the 1/4" hole clips.

I don't know what yours need. Mine was a 68 Firebird and it has a plastic wire shield cover over the wires and the holders was wrapped to the plastic shield. Mine needed the 1/8 holder. I had to remove the holders that were wrapped in with the wire that the new harness had. Then run the wire in the original plastic shield and put the new holders on the shield.

My harness came and includes the clips wrapped already. They look like 1/4", but i didn't measure them. Just FYI.
