Finally nice enough to fire up the blue '68

Fired up Old Blue for the first time since last November yesterday. Took her for an easy spin around town. Heads turn like they are on swivels. Kinda cool when the local PoPo smiles and gives you a thumbs-up when you pass by.

What a machine. Just looking out over the scoops at the open road... Memories from the 70's as a teenager with a Goat flow strong.

Had the red one down at the marina last week, this time it was Blue's turn:

Man am I glad the nastiest winter in decades is fading fast...!

Looking good! I may take mine out for a spin. Hasn't been on the street since I got it back from the painter's.

Thanks Greg. Yours will REALLY turn heads, with that unique color and poverty-caps. :)

On another note... I want to switch back to Pontiac wheels on the blue car but I have 1/2" studs on the 12-bolt. Guys at Strange said to just drill out the holes on the wheels, say they do it all the time...

I don't know. If you're talking about Rally IIs and it were me, I'd probably resist the urge to drill them out. They are not as common as they used to be. On the other hand, as long as they are going to stay with the car? Maybe so...lol

I wouldn't do that with any rare wheels, lots of Rally II's out there, even repos....

Oh sure it is...! ;)
I couldn't afford the slip fees, much less that tub. It's for sale though... For only 5 million it's yours....
