Corvette fuel rail covers on TA

I saw this on the internets, so I took a stab at it. I bought 5th gen corvette FRCs on ebay, strategically cut them, and put them on my engine. It gets rid of the ugly-ness of the coil packs and wires that top the engine.
I prefer DIY, but Afterthoughts Auto also sells custom FRCs. Before: http://i.imgur.com/AOd63s0.jpg After: http://i.imgur.com/SlIHW5l.jpg |
Definitely a much cleaner look. Just get that "Corvette" out of there :)

I totally get you, but I'm too lazy to go through all the custom work required lol.

I had a set on my old 93 years ago. I found some door edge guard at Autozone that matched the texture. it was flat and square and had two sided tape. I cut it to cover the corvette logo and put a Trans Am decal over it. I got many compliments on it. Cheap and easy.

I did the same thing on my 02. I found a place online who modified them. They cut them, covered up the Corvette, and painted them to match my car with Trans Am decals and stripes. I think it cost me $130.
