Finally, A CORRECT 63-67 Water Pump!

I have finally found and purchased CORRECT Water Pump for 1963-1967 P8/T8 cars. Group # 1.069, Part # 9788609.
My 67 GTO will get it eventually, but first it has to be documented here and elsewhere. I have been looking high and low for at least 10 years.
NOT FOR SALE.

Check out the curvature of the vanes on the impeller.

Fits the original plate curvature exactly with 1/8" clearance.

So far I can see 5 of the same picture of the original GM box. :)

Yep, thanks to Photobucket for changing the operation all around. It doesn't automatically copy anymore when you click on the Img link.

Corrected now.

It doesn't get any better than this when you find the correct one.

Well done.

Thanks for documenting that, too, before sticking it on the car.

You are quite welcome guys.

The way I look at it, this is what we all come here to get together for. To share knowledge. Thanks to Chris & PY, we have a medium to do this like never before.

Charles, I just noticed in your 1st post.... 68 should be included too. ;)

68 was the last year for the 8 bolt water pump. 69 was the 1st year for the 11 bolt water pump.
