Andy thanks for coming. I really love your 67. This school has a great automotive program and is not state funded. Two of the boys from the school won state competition and are going to Kansas City, Kansas to compete at the national event. I try to go every year to support the event and the school. The pic of the Duster shows the kind of work the students do at the school as it was done in the schools body shop a few years ago.

They seemed like a good group of boys. Tried to get me to lay down some rubber as I was leaving the lot ;)
Thanks again Alan. |
Great pictures Andy! Thanks for posting. Great meeting up and talking cars for a while.
Alan, great to meet up with you and I really enjoyed the show. Glad to hear it is for such a great cause as well! I look forward to meeting up with all you guys again soon. |
Andy and Mike. It was good to meet y'all. Mike your 70 is a great example of a survivor and I'm glad you brought it. Yes these are a great bunch of boys. And again there are two from the school that are going to Kansas to compete in national competition, one in mechanics and one in paint to represent the state of North Carolina. IIRC there were a couple of students from the school a few years ago that won the national competition in body and paint. And like Bruce keeps saying to me, these boys are the future to carry on the field of auto repair.
