thoughts? value?

Nice car, delusional price.

69goatboy 05-13-2014 04:38 PM

Maybe in 20 years it might be worth a pretty penny.
A same model, same year decent used car might go for what? 8 grand or so?
I just don't see the justification for a 6 figure asking price.

Seems like this guy is testing the waters after watching too many TV auctions.

njsteve 05-13-2014 04:42 PM

The guy has got dain bramage.

72projectbird 05-13-2014 04:55 PM

Insane price.

But it is the best color combo.

The owner would to have pay me that much to own the car. These were riddled with problems.

just curious, what problems did those cars have?

It's twin is sitting in my father's shed. It has two more zeros on the odometer though. They are great cars. Same drivetrain as the caprice and roadmaster. Very dependable. A lot of room in the back seat. Only issues on this one was a clutch on the ac compressor and the power antenna quit. They were really expensive when new.

I owned 1994 Fleetwood Brougham. The only problems I ever had with it was the LT1 Opti Spark going bad. I bought reman Opti Sparks and they would go bad every oil change or so until I replaced it with a brand new GM part. Other than that these cars are bullet proof. Mine had 297,000 miles on it when I sold it and was very fast for a 4500 lb car. These Fleetwoods came with the same 260 HP LT1 as did the Impala SS and the 9C1 cop cars. Unlike the Buick Roadmaster and the Olds Vista Cruiser, they only had the 230 HP LT1.:)

i was gonna say i have owned my 96 cappy for 11 years and i love it..best engineered full size car gm ever made imo. i know the opti can be a weak spot, but mine lasted 120k and i replaced with a gm, same with the belts and water pump..i did a few tasteful mods to mine and it really woke it up. im happy with it--too bad gm didnt keep making the b body for a few more years--we would have had the LS motor in them--now that would have been a sleeper!

MOJO Catalina 05-15-2014 09:53 AM

For that price I'd buy a '59 Eldorado convertible..

David Jones 05-15-2014 11:52 AM

His price shows evidence of his drug use.

This car is good for what now?

Drive it and it becomes just another used car. One you paid to much for.

Park it and what have you got? Is this car one you'd take somebody out to garage to see?

He tried to get $40K for this.....http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Roadma...p2047675.l2557
