now this one's back again????
.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...17afc3&vxp=mtr
not sure what the deal is with THIS 70 but it seems the * new owner* has it for sale again????? it will be interesting to see what it does sell for this time around. at the $17.6 K it went for last time not too sure if there is any more $$$ to be made on it or not.....maybe it never sold to begin with :confused2 |
Yes, I noticed too, it's back again and it even looks like there are new side moldings to cover up all those screw holes???? Interesting ...
|
You can see the rivet in the photo of the inside edge of the door.
|
The pipes need to go they don't fit the car at all....then the molding has got to go...then you have to fix all the holes that the DUMB A$$ put in this car. So $600.00 for the exhaust, $6,000 to fix the holes and refinish the car. That puts it at about $$3,000 to $4,000 in my book and that is being as nice as I can

Probably just painted the screw heads to make them less noticable

wow...
I normally hope that peopel selling these cars make good money, which should in turn reflect positivly on the market... and all of us... but this one... |
There is nothing really wrong with this car as it sits being a survivor, the problem is it was not bought from the original owner by a collector. It was bought by a dealer/flipper.That said, as it tries to find a collector home, every last penny will be squeezed out of it. Too bad, being a low mileage survivor, that car should have gone directly into a collection at around 12500-14000. In the high teens, being a 350 engine car it will get a bad rep every time it is advertised. The longer it is offered, buyers will react just like this board is..there must be something wrong with the car, nitpicking over what otherwise would be consider acceptable survivor issues. Yea.. too bad a dealer bought that car. Cars like this never really have much $$ in them anyway. What do you bet, some stupid dealer will start painting and working on this car thinking that is what will attract a buyer.Personally, I love survivors like this, full of issues and all.
|
/\ /\ I agree.
There's been a couple flipper bought cars that had modifications done to themunder the guise of making it more desirable, and it actually really detracted from the car IMO... |
X3 on above! It may get a Formula hood, honeycombs, spoiler and Voila = 24K car attempt!
