Correct 72' shock absorber color?
 

Tried a few searches, didn't find anything. Maybe I didn't type in the exact search terms needed to find what I need?

Still have the factory shocks on my 1972 GTO Survivor. They are grey.

Note the black factory overspray paint on the bottom of the left shock. The right side doesn't have it because it was replaced under warranty when it was 6 months old.

Bill would your front spirals also have the chassis black overspray too? Interesting they shot the chassis with the rear shocks already installed.

Norm Don't know about the front, I'll check when I have time. As for the rear the rear axle assembly was attached to the frame completely bare metal. They just sprayed black across the back so if a potential buyer looked under the back of the car he wouldn't see a rusty axle assembly.
