78 hurst
Question does anybody have info on how many hurst t-top ta's there could possibly be and the last known production numbered car with hurst tops. Thanks

Haven't seen any published data on that one.......There are production figures for Y82 S/E's

Hurst installation likely ended before the end of the 1977 calendar year. What would be interesting to know is if both Van Nuys and Norwood switched over to Fisher T-tops at the same time or if there was a difference. Maybe guys with Hurst T-top cars can post their cars build date on the cowl tag and the plant it was assembled at.

my 78 bandit was a hurst car. 98th firebird built, 35th TA. will have to get home to see if norwood or van nuys. still have the order forms and dealer papers I signed when I got it.
you know how this goes....I was told when I got mine, the hurst were built at one place until they used up what was left then they switched over to fishers for both places. |
