Towel
Thanks everyone for the comments, and suggestions.
I think back will get better one day, they just need to do the proper treatment. I'll still have my supercharged 99' Transam:) |
Have seen Kevin's car, it's a nice piece. Everything Kevin has is very nice.
Sorry you can't get the time to finish it between family, health and career. Good luck with sell. Let me know if you need help with anything. Chris |
Lugnutt... 8 years ago and 7+ back fractures from my multiple myeloma then, I often thought about throwin in the towel... it was hard to not be able to do anything I wanted... I'm glad I hung on to my engine stuff and other odds and ends... its been a slow process... but I can do things I never thought Id do again...maybe not as quick but I cant worry about that part of it...
I'm buildin a 90 bird... son got married a few months back one of my daughters last month and wife only part time work lately. Budget slowed me to a crawl and the cancer came out of remission in June... I needed a cane for most of summer but getting cancer back under control and no longer need the damn cane...(this time was losing bone right where I sit on left side...tumor formed 1/8" from leg joint just above cartilidge, radiation killed the tumor, the hole is fillin with bone cell I'm headin back to remission) I havent accomplished what I'd like but I'm not about to give up n throw in the towel... It will get done at some point... I have got quite a few small things done and that will help in the long run... I've certainly had the time to revise plans and even created a prototype for a serpentine belt setup... just need to make the final piece pretty at this point. Removed the junk aftermarket sunroof from the bird gutted the interior and patchin the roof back ... finally have the weather and comfort level to do it... Tons I want done yesterday!!! but I know that cant happen so I do what I can as I can... Its enough incentive to get me through all the rest of what life brings me good or bad. Think this through before you part with all you have... maybe revise your plan and keep motor or car and find an easier path if you have to... Best of luck to you, a bad back isnt easy to deal with... but what you eventually accomplish regardless of the pain or time factor is quite rewarding in the long term... |
