BOP Atco 11/8/14
 

November 8th- Who's going? I may drive the wagon over to check it out, and maybe run it down the track for old time's sake. I ran my old Lemans down the strip at Atco in 2003...first time ever down the 1/4 mile, and I was hooked. :car::3gears::3gears:

Weather permitting, I will be there with a 72 TA

Is it a T&T day also?

I will be there trying to keep the car out of the 9's

There is no test-n-tune that day.

It is also Mopar Hemi Day. A lot of Jeep's show up.

Last passes with the current TH400 and then the new TH400 with a Gear Vendors unit goes in... WooHoo...

i'm going. I'll be the guy riding around on the chopper bicycle.
I've noticed they've combined it with "mopar/hemi day" or something just like last year; which kinda takes some of the fun out of it for me, as a spectator...sitting through an hour or so of jeeps and challengers every round sucked. yes they were very fast but
I liked it better a few years back when it was just Pontiacs.
last year I left before noon.

There is also a car show there too every year with trophies to the best in classes.
Is anyone showing anything this year?
Its like the Good Ole Boys Club there. If you aren't part of the "in" crowd and know the Pontiac club that is hosting this then don't expect to come home with a trophy.

I'm not in any clubs or part of the "in" crowd and won the John Sawruk award last year

I'd go but this year the "Salute The Troops" show at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA is the same day.... no fee, donations only. It's one I will not miss even tho I like the BOP show at Attco.

is this more of a later year/ racing event or do a good bit of classics (pre GTO ) show up too.

The wife said she wants to go so we'll bring our 04 GTO again. Hope the weather is good.

FYI I am in the SJPC South Jersey Pontiac Club and we took over this show this year because the previous club did not want to run it anymore due to lackluster turnout. So please lets turn this event around or it is in Danger of disappearing like Pontiac Day @ E-Town. Thanks KC
