Guys my garage ceiling is 8 foot high, will I be able to use a roterssie on my 1970 pontiac or am I too low to turn the car over

I can't remember how I figured mine out, nor what my garage height is. I know I figured it out somehow before I got it in there.

I can't spin mine over with the garage door up as it hits the car. My car is a '78 Trans am and it's about 6' wide I think - when I spin it over, the rear spat grazes the rotisserie center bar at the bottom, and I can't spin it all the way around with the side rear view mirrors installed. Guessing I have 7' something to the main support beam of my garage roof. Ide have to measure again to tell you for sure though.

I think mine is the one below the pro model.

I do so many different things, I forget a lot of stuff. Sorry I can't be of more help right now.

On the lowest setting you should be just able to turn it. You could always wheel it outside to turn it and push it back in the garage. Don't let a low ceiling stop you from getting a rotisserie as it will make the job of restoring your car so much easier.

Don't know how much work you need to do to the body, but I installed all my floors when the car was on the frame, then built this car dolly for the body. When I wanted to work on the frame, I rolled the body outside, when I wanted to work on the body, I rolled the frame outside. The downside is, if you need to work on the floors from underneath, you are working above your head. Total cost was around $200, including the castors. Just an idea for ya.
