Picked up a couple 1964 2+2's

Picked up a couple of 64 2+2 cars. one automatic, other is a 4 speed car.

The 4 speed car is almost all complete has factory tach, buckets council with the 4 speed shift pattern plate. This one has sat for along time and has a lot of rust color is white with a black top, black interior.

The Automatic car is pretty much a shell, no motor or trans, partial interior, solid frame trunk floor, and floor pans except for 1 or 2 small pin holes in drivers foot area. overall body is mostly solid. This one is a medium blue silver with a white top, trim tag says paint code is FC

I got the blue car home, and will probably go get the 4 speed car tommarow or Friday.

Will probably end up selling them as a pair or parting them.

Was wondering if anyone one on here has a registry on 2+2 cars or keeps track of them and there options and where they were sold new, like some of the other forum groups on here. I would be happy to share the info on these 2 cars, I found a copy of the build sheet on the inside the blue car.

I'll post a couple pics of them tonight.

YEP! I am having a CRS moment but a regular in this subforum has the 2+2 Registry in his signature...Czech it out.

Cool find, BTW!

Both had been sitting inside for years, and finally had been drug outside a couple weeks ago.

Looks like you should be able to put together a complete 4spd car out of the 3 you have there!!

Hi, If you get around to it I could use the body side mouldings if you want to sell a set. Mine are missing off my 64 2+2. Thanks

Jack,
Sorry I haven't been on here much lately, been working 6 days a week since thanksgiving. Finally slowed down at work. I'm leaving for Oklahoma in the mourning, and will give you a call next week when I get back.

Update on the car:
My dad has tinkered with the stick car and got it running with some new points and plugs and fresh gas from a can, it actually dosen't run to bad, but unable to drive due to the brakes, the factory Tach even works. Put it up on the hoist and it has a 3.42 posi.

Firechief, I think we are going to try and sell both cars together first and if no interest we will probablly end up parting out, i'll let you know if that happens, you will be first in line for the moldings.
