Pontiac Window Stickers
First off, thank you again to everyone that's posted comments about my reproduction Pontiac window stickers!
I've been backlogged recently, and between working on various challenging window stickers (you guys know who you are!), and I've been trying to get the 1973 Pontiac window stickers up and available on my website. I have the 1965-1972 window stickers available, but please be patient as I currently have a 1-2 week turnaround time. Sometimes these window stickers take a lot of research to make them correct, especially those that just supply build sheets or Billing History cards and do not have invoices. I've also had to do some legwork at the Pontiac Museum to find certain dealer codes, as well as researching exactly how each plant formatted the description of a specific model in the top portion of the window sticker. http://www.musclecarfilms.com/PontiacWindowSticker.html Of interest (and I've been logging these) are misspellings and typos on original window stickers, and I've also recently found a few typos on original build sheets! Just goes to show that even a megacorporation like GM (or Pontiac) makes mistakes now and then. Thank you again for all the nice comments. Mike |

JK Thxs for the heads up and FYI on OEM typos...goes along with those classic "Friday build marbles in the frame rails" etc. :p :Peace: |
I have to say how impressed I am with what Mike did for me on my two stickers. He went way above and beyond what I was expecting, and I'm thoroughly pleased with what I received, right down to the way everything was packaged, with notes and instructions included. Very thorough and professional. I'm probably one of the challenges he mentioned, so......sorry about that. But what he was able to find out for my cars was huge.
So I just want to say publicly, thanks Mike for the effort you put into producing my stickers. I really appreciate it and I couldn't be any happier. Alan |
Thank you Alan! Your two Pontiacs were definitely challenges, but I love a challenge. For those that don't know, Alan has a 67 Grand Prix hardtop and a 68 Ventura wagon, both nicely optioned.
And Alvin, thanks for the laugh! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...ic/biggrin.gif Mike |
Mike, I am going to get one from you but am in no big rush. Can I have it by Friday?:D

My turnaround time has come down quite a bit as I've received more business. Sounds strange, but true. I've developed routines and procedures that allow me to ensure accuracy, and as I gather more build sheets, invoices, and billing history cards, it's easier to create accurate window stickers. It also helps when guys like John Hall and Dave Armstrong have vehicles that are so loaded with options that I can use their window stickers and option codes as templates. Lots of people have contacted me that do not belong to any Pontiac forums, they deal with Facebook or local clubs. Have run across some fascinating cars. Everything is confidential of course, unless the owner says it's ok to release info. Owner privacy is of utmost importance. I've also added about 50 new dealer codes (so far) to John W's dealer code spreadsheet. I will have a massive update for him in the future, and I am working on another project with the Pontiac Museum right now. |
Mike's service is top notch.....I've posted your web site on the facial book, with good responses there too. Thanks again Mike!

Bump, just because :)
|
Mike, I added you to the links page on The Cruisin' Tigers website. From what Ive seen, nice work!!!
|
Thank you Paul, and thank you Bruce for bringing this thread back up!
Just finished finalizing the 1964 window stickers, will have them available soon. I'm amazed how many people found me that do not belong to this forum, or any forum for that matter. Seems like a lot of people have just owned their Pontiac(s) for many, many years, some of them are even the original owners. Thanks again, I appreciate everyone getting the word out. Mike |
Mike I also added links to you on my web site(s).
Good luck. :) |
Mike,
I haven't order from you yet but I am going to post your website info on FB at the 1969 Firebird Owners page. How's the snow and cold weather working for you in Bolingbrook? lol Marc |
Mike, I had no idea you did this. I'm definitely interested in getting a window sticker for my '67.

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...3&d=1425508459 John, thanks for the link on your website. I haven't advertised officially anywhere, it's just been word of mouth. I think many people that have bought one of my window stickers have posted on their Facebook page that they're happy with the results, so I appreciate all the positive feedback. |
Could not be happier with the two window stickers I got. Thanks Mike!!!!!!!!
|
Mike, How do you duplicate those old fonts from mechanical printers?
|
I just ordered two of the window stickers. I can't wait to see them.:)
