New RACE head info now available
Dave Wilcox has released flow numbers and some pics of his new Ram Air V-based billet race head. This is unlike anything Pontiac people have seen before. They outflow any currently advertised heads (peak). And though based on the valve layout of Ram Air V, that's where the similarities end. NOT a "tunnel port", this head employs modern trapezoidal "tall" ports.
The real news is the low-and mid-lift numbers. Good builders know, peak numbers sell product. Average numbers make power. We're more about making power... These heads will be able to be used on anything from a 500 HP streeter or bracket engine, to near 4K HP blown/alcohol. These heads have been produced for the new engine for Goateus Maximus. They'll be "mapped" and variations will be available. headsandmanifolds.com We're going back on safari! (hunting elephants...) Jim |

Pushrod offset? Valve length? You sure about the "streeter" capabilities though? Billet heads drilled for coolant usually dont flow enough coolant in critical areas for street cruisin' or road race use. Most drag cars running billet are towed to lanes and back down return road unless running alcohol. |
Damm those are a seriues quantem leap forward..

This is great to hear !
