Followers / Getting them profiled?

I have a couple sets of followers from well worn engines and am wanting to get at least one set profiled.

Where would I go to have this done (shop recommendations?) and are there any specs to follow?

Anyone have experience with this?

I had my cam followers ground when I took my cam shaft to get it reground, They told me to put a Dime under the Lash Adjusters to make to make up for the clearance.

cam followers

I had several set reground at a place out in California. Cant remember the company right now but will check into it and post later.

I had my new set profiled by the following company. They did a nice job and the turn around was pretty reasonable.

Rocker Arm Specialist

Thanks,

Just got a quote from Rocker Arms Unlimited for $7.80 each.
Does this seem like a decent value?

Sounds fair to me.

Rocker arm specialist is were I had mine done back in '08. I sent in 6 sets to get resurfaced. They did a great job and fast turn around.
