'81 T/A T top turbo 301 found
been sitting in a garage for 15 + years, rough shape but runs. (its black)
the speedometer reads km. It needs 1/4s, doors fenders The people who now own are going to take anything they can to use on their 79. the engine and trans wont be used, the disc brake rearend and subframe will go to something else. My question is, is this car worth it to restore/ find a new owner? If you notice my user-name... I am not that familiar with these. Thanks |
It sounds like you have a 81 301 Turbo...that is pretty rusty (ie. needs 1/4s, doors, fenders) with no rear axle and no subframe and possibly other miscellaneous parts missing. It kinda sounds like a parts car. There could be lots of parts of value left...
steering wheel, dash, rims, hood, front grilles, wheel flares, etc |
Sounds like your going to need a parts car for your parts car. It depends on how much stuff they take off the car & how much time & money you want to put into the car. If the speedo is reading in K/M it's proberly a Canadian car . If thats the case you'll have to get a new speedo to. Sounds like a money pit to me. If this is your first Pontiac I'd start with a better one so you don't get discouraged & then say some things about Pontiac because of 1 poor choice.
