A HUGE Thank-You to Keith Seymore!

I was in Michigan this weekend to pick up a car and got the chance to get the grand guided Motor City tour from Keith Seymore. :D

It was short notice, less than a week and my weekend was pretty crazy with other activities and stops but Keith was more than flexible, giving me multiple times & making himself available for the 5 hour tour! It was fast paced and I'm not sure we ever came to a complete stop but I saw everything from the Packard Plant to the Pontiac Plant & everything on/off Woodward in between. He even brought me by his house to show me his & his father's cars and through the GM Tech center!

His depth & breadth of automotive knowledge is second to none & the stories he relayed of his father's early racing days were fantastic! What a great afternoon Keith & I can't thank you enough!

Some pictures below of the journey, not the best but they were taken from a moving car! Thanks again Keith! :clap2:

Also a big thank-you to Brian Halloran, (Guilty here on the board) for letting me crash at his place & for getting me into a GM property I probably shouldn't have been in!

you should come back for the dream cruise. that's a real treat too. ;)

I'd love to but probably have too many trips booked for this year already to get away with it. This weekend was a little unexpected, but came together nicely! :D

I should also thank Jeff Denison for the great muffler he left for me & for the tour I got at Dan Jensen's when I picked it up!

I put on over 1600 miles but I had a great weekend!

Keith is a great guy, remember when several people gave him a rash about his dad's intake? That wasn't right, to him or his dad.

I have known Keith since the late 90's. We were 1 and 2 in points in the NSCA/NMCA the same year. Great guy and a great racer. I had the opportunity to meet his late father at a few if the NSCA races. I wish could have recorded those conversations.
Sounds like a fun trip!!!

It's just too bad that you were out there to get a Gen 3 Camaro. :p

You should have heard Tieman when Rick asked why you weren't at Musclepalooza. "A Camaaaro?! What the hell does he want with a Camaaaro?!".... It went on for quite a while. :pound:

I can almost hear Scott's twang in that....

Kuddos to Keith! It's on my bucket list to meet Keith before I pass on. He's been a great friend here on the board. We came close one year when he was racing down here at Atlanta Dragway, but I didn't know it before it was too late.
