Dash carrier clip install
 

I bought this part for my wife's convertible. Bought it based on the description as these were NOT on the car already and I thought there was a good chance they have been removed in the past:

I did not buy from this vendor, just lazy and this was easy to post. Hope I didnt break any forum rules.

Can someone help me understand where on the dash carrier assembly these are used?

Those clips allow you to screw the dash gauge assembly into the carrier. If you are looking at the rear of the carrier plastic piece, without the gauges in it, there is screw holes in the top of the rear, and then little ears on the bottom. these clips push onto those ears and allow you to screw the bottom of the gauge housing onto the carrier. Without them, you cant assemble it.
