manual to power steering conversion
 

A friend gave me the whole setup to change my 66 Lemans from manual to power steering. He gave me the steering box and pump but no bracket. He said that he does not remember it having a bracket. I know the bracket it not still on the engine because I have that also. I looked on NPD website and they showed 2 or three different brackets for 66. The engine is a 66 326. Is there a bracket for my car and if so which one. I tried looking at engine pictures to see how it is set up but I could not make out enough to tell.

You should post a 'parts wanted' ad in the appropriate classified forum here on PY, you'll likely find what you need fairly easily on the used parts market.

There are a couple brackets you will need plus I believe you will need to also change the pitman arm. Like B-man said post for the parts and if need be post pictures of what you have and we can tell you if you have it all. The alt. will be moved a bit so you will even need a new belt.
