67 lemans going bye bye today, have new 400
 

i have looked thru these ads and havnt seen much interest in 67 lemans or tempests. i have had my rust free 2 door 4 speed car for sale for years at $1500 and i still have it. it just has rusted out under both windscreens. not all that bad either. totally rust free otherwise but i haven't had a title. so i got offered 1750 for it today, and even tho that sticks me with the engine i just built, i think i will go ahead and get rid of it. i have had it for 8 years or so and have not had any money to work on it. it looks just like i got it. i got an engine for it and rebuilt that almost all the way, but i guess i will find something else some day. my car has no running gear in it, needs engine and front electrical, no front brake lines or master cylinder and no front seats.

frankly, when i got it 8 years ago for 1300 i thought it was a steal! i can't believe it has not really apprecaited at all. it's pathetic. worse is my finances, which havent let me do squat with it. building a car is not a poor mans hobby is it? sucks but i am about 3 months behind on the mortgage and the car is a payment. guess i will sell the 400 for 1500 and the trans for another few hundies and then that's it. not a pontiac guy anymore. hate to say it, but it was fun learning about the poncho mill, must have read a million posts in engine forums. if anyone interested in the short block, all assembled, heads, reply to this. my pm box is full. i can pm you back. i would need $600 for the heads. new valve job on 061's with largest valves you can fit in there. have never been fired, valve job cost me $400+. or ported 4X heads with larger valves also, with port matched RPM intake for $600 plus shipping on both. above seattle.
