Am I too High!

I thought that would get your attention:D
Is the market saturated? Is this not desirable any longer? Why is it that we invest so much into this stuff and there is no return.

Definitely not too high. I have pondered this as well. Seems to me that most enthusiast have at least some parts laying around that they feel strong about or have some sentimental connection with. They feel that they just need this or that to build their own motor or car. This allows them to pay as they go rather than save and dump large sum at one time. Also easier to hide from significant other. Just my thoughts.

I sold my 455 that was fresh and ran high 9s in a 3450# car for $7500.

Expense to result in a good running engine like THAT takes $$$$, decisions, assembly time (risks), and efforts. A real sacrifice that a Buyer will appreciate.

I think it's the 13.5 to one that's killin yA. Not really an average guys motor. Good luck, sounds like a nice piece.

Yeah that is a killer for a street motor.
It would be nice for a street short block if the heads sold!
Torqjunki, I understand I'm guilty of buying a little at a time and then putting it together.
