73 TA Shifter Linkage ?
1 Attachment(s)
I've pulled the trans out of the 73 TA and am rebuilding/detailing it. Can anyone tell me:
1. Are these the correct style linkage swivels? 2. Does anyone have better looking ones than my pitted pieces? 3. Are these supposed to be phosphate plated like the shift rods? Tim http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...1&d=1449290894 |
The trunnions look correct (shorter belongs to the reverse rod, longer 1-2 rod). 3-4 is different and called a swivel. If they were plated, it would have been a silver looking plating but I think they were natural. Contact member Peter Serio to see if he can help.

Thanks HFR! Based on the amount of pitting when compared to the shift rods, etc, they were probably natural or phosphate plated.
It looks like Inline Tube may carry them. If anyone has any OEM ones in good condition, I'd like to purchase... |
