Inner to outer grill adjustment, hideaway
 

I am hoping to get some smart guy pointers please.

My (69) outer hideaway head light cover grills are both more forward than the inner grills and not by the same amount. I'm not seeing where I can get enough movement of the inner and or outer grills / assemblies to mate them up??? I have pulled the valance and inner grills off, sure hope not to have to pull the bumper.

You have to loosen up the 4 3/8 bolts that hold the brackets to the bottom of the nose. That will give you the movement your looking for

agreed, if this doesn't give you enough movement you can cheat with washers as spacers on the bolts ram4king mentioned as well as by reaming out the holes in the bumper with a dremel.
