Here also. I am interested. Anyone close that could look? Was Ram Air still an option in 73? Price high or decent? Wonder how frame rails are?

WU3 is ram air option, yes it was available in 73

Didn't realize its on ebay too, a repo window sticker with options is in the eBay ad which shows Ram Air option

To me the price seems very low, you ca't find one in europe under €20.000 in good original condition.

Floors look pretty good...considering the area it's from....

I had a 73 Esprit parts car about 20 years ago in the same colors....kind of a lame combination..

I'm starting to like yellow more and more. May have to get one soon.

Anyone else prefer that the carpet would have been left in even though it was in poor shape. Stuff like date codes, seat bolt covers and hardware always seem to disappear along with the carpet.

That is some really bad winshield/dash corner rust. If it has progressed that far there can't be anything left under the cowl edges. Very sad. It's a cool car and still has the polyethylene valnce, too!

Me too. But it was probably a mouse/rat poop-alooza so they tossed it out. I bet there are mouse holes in the headliner above the visors.

Taking the carpet out prolly SAVED the floors....if it was ever stored outside...or in a damp environment.....YOU should know that....considering where you live...

A WET carpet becomes a science project....AND... turns the floors into a "rust fest" really QUICK..

I agree that carpet can be a problem in a leaking car parked in the rain and has lead to some very interesting growth in cars around here but in the seller's ebay ad, he clearly states that it is a barn find flip car and that he pulled out the carpet 3 weeks ago. I'm just saying that I would have preferred it to be left in with a quick vacuum for the mice turds.

Might be the 1 piece headliner like my 73 :)

How do you find out the number made with Ram Air? what is a reliable source for 73 numbers?

I show 533 Formulas had the Ram Air hood.
Don't know whether they were all 455 or combo with 400.

Also not sure where it came from, either HPP or Fred.

Neat car with some nice options. Certainly worth of reviving...

The rust in the cowl corners is not that uncommon around here......and it's caused from sitting/being stored outside when there is ALOT of humidity (rain) in the air..

It's NOT really always an indication of a seriously rusty car....

It's far easier to repair.... than rear quarters/tail panels or frame rails...and can be done standing up....

The rusty dash doesn't scare me but I would definitely want to see the rails before jumping.
