Splash shield query?
 

Does anyone have pics of the splash shields installed on inner fenders?

Here are three pics of splash shields on three different 67s.
Note the green car is supposedly all original and staples are a dull silver. (from age i suspect)

Would love to see a close up of the original one.Tom

Here is another pic of the green car shields.

In the pic I cant make out if the staples are putin from the top or from under.Most factorys I have seen have been from under.Tom

Tom if you have windows ten and download the first pic of the green car.
You will be able to see the staples are installed from the underside of the wheel well. The crimp is visible on the metal well. The program used allows pics to be enlarged to the point of minimal distortion.
