nOS 8 Tracks
 

A buddy has a box of nOS 8 tracks. after going through it I had to have the 2 led Zep ones in there. lol he's selling the rest, there's alot if Beatles in the box, Cream, Hendrix, G Dead,

cool find! Those are the two that I would have kept also.

I'd love to get a couple of 8-track tapes. Cream is one of them besides Led Zeplin. I've got a radio in my garage with an 8-track player in it... but no tapes.

How much would he want for the Hendrix?

Byrd, PM the Dead tapes available and price. I like to play those NOs things in my car!

...still have all of my 8-Tracks from the late 1960s, 30-40 probably...Cream, Turtles, CS&N, Hendrix, DOORS, Kinks, etc

I just rebuilt a bunch of my 8 track tapes. The foam pressure pad inside the case that always rots away... I've found that the 1/4" weather strip rolls from Menards is a perfect replacement for that. Just cut and press in and the tape is as good as new.

You also need an NOS matchbook, to jam in the slot next to the tape to get it to play right. :)

He was going to put them on eBay, I called him, told him to sell em here. he's up north till Monday, he's going to send me a few pics, I'll start a thread and post a pic of what he has. We were having dinner at his house when he pulled the boxes out, I crapped myself. Lol. I got the 2 Zeppelin free for doing the Tile job. Sorry guys, you didn't help me. Lol I'll post pics next week. I recently bought a like new Sears portable 8 track player for the garage. I hate to open the new Zep ones though.

I had to put a new drive belt in my 78, anyone ever done theirs? SPECMO had them in stock.

If there was no salt on the road i would be there! He's about 45 mins from me,straight down 59.Have to do it on a sat am so we can get breakfast! or lunch,dinner lol
