Valance bolts

Hey folks, I was crawling under my car and noticed when the body shop put my car together they left out a few bolts. The lower valance is missing some, are these just regular GM body bolts?

Yes they are the typical front end sheet metal screw with the integrated (but loose) large washer.

My 68 had no washers. They were just like this kit pictured, but mine had the next length screw, not the short ones shown here. If these short ones are correct, I think both lengths were used.

Here's a picture I took over a decade ago when I stripped a 68 lemans for parts. My father in-law bought the car brand new & was it very unmolested. Unfortunately it was very very rusty & was not a savable car :( I took some pictures of things when I took it apart for future reference. Most of the clips broke off, so there is only one in the picture, but these are the original bolts anyway. Not sure where the longer one came from. The only place this car had short bolts like the picture above was on the radiator shroud or support.

I really think the short ones in this kit is incorrect. OR, both were used depending on the plant?

forget my previous post, I was thinking of something else, the pics from 68ragtop are bang on for every original setup I ever saw

I'll give you this tip......you can buy thin teflon washers at a hardware store
that are the same diameter as the bolt heads. Put one on each bolt and you can install
and remove them without chipping any paint on your valence....This is what I did on my car.
