70 Bucket seat value

I have a pair of blue buckets with headrests and tracks from a 70 Trans Am, seats are in decent condition few tears in the bottoms the backrests are still pretty nice. just want a idea what they are worth. Thanks

50 to 500 depending on how nice and who needs them...most people with 70s have their seats...

maybe more i dunno.i saw 70 set belt bring almost 2k..so i may be out of touch...i dunno anymore..ive seen the plastic and hardware bring a bunch...

but that being said..ive seen them all over the place..and most seem to flop right on the middle..300 or so...around here and they are not hard to get.... around here anyway...

I have a really nice pair with the brown comfortweave covers (some of the seams have rips in the comfortweave);
Occasionally I consider selling them, but up till now I have saved them.

I believe what people are looking for is mostly:
1) good core/donor seats
2) good hard plastic trim (rear covers, and hinge covers)
3) good useable headrests

I believe that headrests are the single part that is not reproduced.

I've got a good set of seats cores but no one wants them, they just want the seat tracks, and I don't want to sell them separately.

good to know...
I have one or two sets of those too.

Are the ones with the release on the side worth anything more or less than the front release ones?

those were BEAUTIFUL seats that needed nothing....
I think most of us have seats that need some sort of loving care...

;)

NOT A T/A's dlx black buckets absolutely beautifu, quite a good deal for someone, even in '09 dollars.

One thing I've noticed w '70 Firebird Dix black and Dlx sandalwood seats, is at least the seats I've pulled out of own partcars (most of them off the road since the early-mid 80's), the original comfortweave was not real comfortweave. instead it was faux comfortweave.

To move '70 F bucket seats, have stripped the tracks and headrests off quite a few '70 F buckets. Nearly all were rebuilt as '69 Camaro buckets. Have at least two pair of original '70 tracks.

Roger..are you saying 69 and 70 seats are the same except head rest and seat tracks? Ive never owned a pair of 70 seats...and i need a pair for my formula
