Mason Dixon this Sunday

We're heading out to the PY/Maxperformance show this weekend and was thinking about dropping down and hit Mason Dixon dragway on our way home on Sunday to do a little racing. Anybody racing there this coming weekend? Good track prep, marginal, terrible? Worth making the stop or should I just keep on heading home and forget about it? Any insight would be appreciated.
Thought about Cecil but that's going in the wrong direction for the way home.

Track prep is usually good. Elmer,Steve,Butch and others are cool. Track announcer usually talks up Pontiac's 😊 What time do you think you'll arrive? I won't be racing but can show up.

Not sure what time Troy. Probably leave Hatfield PA first thing Sunday morning then head out. Have to check how long it takes to get there from PY. I think gates open at 9am. They normally have a good car count?

I like it a lot. Of course it's only 15 minutes from my house, so that has alot to do with liking it. Far better track than 75/80 ever was.

Well we be there tomorrow. Siting in a service plaza on the turnpike for the night.

Feel free to stop and say hi.

On FB I think he said he went out in 2nd round.
No T brakes allowed so had to foot brake.

Yeah, no Trans brake in bracket 2, no box, pro, whatever its called there. I guess everything west of the Maryland border is different. First time I've footbraked my car in what felt like decades! Totally different monster when your use to just stabbing the gas and releasing a little button. ;) Creature of habit I am.

Hey Phil, all is good. I see that you live in Shelton. I was working in Shelton for a couple of weeks back in Oct.

Rob, that sucks. Probably would not have wasted your time if you would have known the rules.

Gave us something to do on the way home. :D If I would have had my box with me, It wouldn't have been an issue. Just another track I can add to the list of places we've raced.
