FRONT ENDURA BUMPER
 

I see they are making a reproduction front bumper now.
I emailed a seller to find out if it was fiberglass, but he said it was a rubber.
Has anyone here used one or heard anything about them?

Jeez, looks pretty nice ... wonder how it mounts to a metal core ... or does it have a metal core? Guy needs to provide a LOT more info if he wants to sell them for that kind of money.

it looks like its remolded on a metal orig core....i say i think that because the mount area on top is wavy....

all those Aussies are so lucky to have someone to do this..just like the dash pads etc....they arent afraid to step up and take projects on like this......

find the guy thats importing the dash pads, and see what he can do on the bumpers..

Wonder if he is having the work done in Asia somewhere. They are a lot closer than we are so having low production parts done there is probably much easier for them. Compared to repairing a moderately damaged bumper by a professional ... probably cheaper to buy one of these.

Freight I would think will cost500 dollar or more? Why not just buy one from states in good condition I sold one for 900 3 years ago and it was perfect, Doug

Yep, that's an option if you can find one. But the typical offering for $500 will take a thousand in work to make it right. Would be far more attractive if shipping was $200.

why not buy a fibreglass one from Glasstek for $280 a hell of a lot cheaper.

Because fiberglass bumpers crumble into pieces when bumped.

For once I'd be a winner with freight as I'm already down under:D
