I normally wouldn't ask but what's the price? I see you have it for sale locally as well. I owned almost the exact same truck over twenty years ago with lots of memories. Some good some bad. Lol

Thanks for the positive replies. I've had truck a little over a year,it was painted when I got it. It looks presentable, but there are some dents in the bed that were not sanded correctly before being painted, i wish they would of had a little more patience before painting. Did not purchase or install carpet in the cab, and the chrome molding is missing on the tailgate, otherwise than that it's a nice driver or cruise night vehicle. I drove it on a short trip on the highway for three hours, truck ran great. I believe it has the 4;10 gears from the rpm, if not, it's gotta be high 3's. Since it is the Camper Special. it has leaf springs instead if coils in the rear.
Stu, I really need to get $8000.00 out of this truck. As any toy usually does, there is more than that into it. Eng/trans were supposedly gone through, unfortunately receipt folder was misplaced. The only thing that someone may want to upgrade is the fact it has drum brakes all the way around.

It's a nice looking truck. I had a 71 3/4 ton Suburban for awhile many years ago.

Was the truck a Michigan truck? Your ad states it had some dents that were not fixed, what about rust?
