DUI distributor review

Finally got around to installing my DUI distributor after looking at it for a year. Thought I would post a review. My old distributor was from a 78 trans am, worn out and never set up for my car (72 455 lemans) . the distributor is a really nice piece looking at it, went in easily enough. While I did not notice any huge horsepower increase, the car ran smoother and idled much better than ever before. Higher RPM's were where I noticed the most improvement, nice and smooth with no breakup or misfiring. Also it fired right up without all the cussing haha. It is really nice what a properly set up distributor will do. Im not shilling for DUI but the whole experience from ordering it to installing was a big positive, they are a class act.

Regards, Pete.

Very happy with mine, and found some extra power, too.

Very happy with mine as well. For a build that dies not require an MSD set up, it's hard to beat the DUI.

What curve weights/plate and springs come in a DUI?

They'll set it up to suit your need.

I've got one in my 695Hp IA motor as well as my pump gas motor in the 78-that one I;ve had for 20 years. Dynoed it against and MSD and the exact same.

DUI dist.

No MSD box needed with just a DUI. Dist. Will it be OK with a 500 hp motor?
