I have had good service with Ward's
http://www.wardsclassiccarradiorepair.com/ Did a great job on my '67 GTO AM-FM radio. Even though he specializes in Mopar radios, he also does most Delco radios. |
"Turn Switch" in Minnesota does excellent work. They can modernize the internals and keep the exterior factory correct looking. This is what and where I send all my radios. They also make correct speakers for our cars.

69 AMFM Radio
Great news, found local tech who bench tested my radio and it works perfectly!! However I need a replacement bulb W216 for the dial..
Also want to update the dash speaker. It must be 8 to 10 ohm. Parts Place has one that I am looking at. Any suggestions? Thanks, Frank69 |

The W 216 so old it isn't in any books that I have found. Will test it several times before installing the radio. The AMFM radio has a stamp that says use only 8/10 ohm speaker. Looking at one at Parts Place that may work. Am changing speaker as the old one is probably tired! Thanks for your help and input. Have a Nice Holiday Season! Frank69 |
