Ram Air Rat Muscle
I finally got the SR Ram Air III engine back in the black earliest-known Ram Air '69. It's got an XR288 Comp Cams roller cam in it. Nice chop in the idle.
Yeah I added Judge stripes. Sue me.:p We aged the stripes with brake cleaner and some other stuff, a Tom Fischer recipe. Basically wanted it to look like a Judge that just got hauled out into daylight after a few decades...Pete Serio did the shifter and Randy Watson did her hood tach...thats an original Judge wing and decklid and a real Judge glovebox door...the rest of the pics are there in the photobucket http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...psvfty3gvw.mp4 |
I like!!! Looks like a barn find, and that sucker will draw some attention where ever you go!

Definitely has the look!

Distressed look. Perfect
Tires. Perfect The camshaft lope. I need a cigarette! I will PM you ybout the trunk repair. I'm going to do that to mine and curious if you have other photographs of it. I assume you spliced in some new metal on the lip? Who could've convinced us years ago we would spend time making our cars look like they are not perfect? LOL. |

I figure there's gotta be earlier cars out there, they just haven't popped up yet. But for now, it's the earliest |
Cool, my car is 01B.
Have fun with that bad boy! |
Spyderzzzzzzzz from Motor Wheel!
Vintage 15 X 8 Spyders on vintage BFG Radial T/As 'pre-metric' G60 and F60 tires. Just to add to the "pulled from storage since the 70s" vibe. http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...psfrydjoak.jpg http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...psksnxg00e.jpg http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps7herfiqq.jpg http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...psrcqxngwn.jpg http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...psmqtlw2bi.jpg |
and it just keeps getting better.
always liked those wheels. good choice. |
Beautiful!

I like that 'patina' look. I was considering doing the same to my '66 when I get around to it. Just put a satin clear coat over the faded paint. That one looks great!
