Hurst Shifter part
I'm putting in a 4 speed into my 67 GTO and acquired a Super T10 with Hurst linkage for it. Unfortunately, the trans came out of a 78 Trans Am ant the linkage is offset to the right to come out in the center of the console and I need it to come straight up so that the linkage come up offset to the left. After looking at Hurstshiftersonline.com, I believe I found the part that I need. The lower receiver for the slip-in type linkage should work. Of course, they want a small fortune just for that part. Anyone here have an old Hurst shifter assy for parts that they might have what I need?

Please be aware, the receivers are not all the same, some mount the shifter straight in line with it and others will have a slight or greater bend to tilt the shifter more to the passenger side of the vehicle in order to accommodate consoles, etc. The 67 GTO shifter I have has a slight bend to the passenger side. Hope this helps. And I will look to see if I have one that matches my 67 shifter.
