What is the date code on these wheels?

I think they are off a 69 350 HO 4-spd Firebird I owned many years ago. I know the code is XT, but I'm used to seeing a month/ day on opposite sides of the valve stem and a MI-0 or something similar.

Mike, am betting the stamping starts with a K1...then they were made by Kelsey Hayes out of their (1) Romulus MI plant. the rest reads just like typical MotorWheel style stamping:

have had quite a few XT wheels. have a pair right now of KH XT's (with small letter codes) that will be welding up & restoring, they had holes for rim screws for slicks.

I uploaded an attachment, but apparently the file size was too big. I'll need to take another picture with a smaller file size setting.

don't see the day of the month. July of '69, big font XT.

should be perfect for late '69 TransAm build with poverty caps.

What's that in front of the 7? It looks like 1-9?

Does the font size make a difference? I had a 69 350HO 4-spd Firebird and a 69 Grand Prix that came with hub caps (full size, not poverty caps).

Thanks,

am reading [email protected] (big font)

with K being KelseyHayes, 1 being the plant. 7 is July
don't see a day of month, maybe it is real close to rh of valve stem.

On font size, the early KH's I've had smaller font XT stamping.
The earliest ive had were Nov '68 dated, they ended up on a real COPO Camaro.
will be shuttling parts early tomorrow will drop you a PM with date of XT's I have.
the latest I've had came of a '70 442.

my gut tells me that I have an XT, but I'd have to double check that;
It took me many years to source a full set of 14x7" steelies (at the right price) for my car...
I think I finally settled for one or two later Chev mini van steelies to complete my set - I figured that with the caps installed, hopefully few will notice...
