Auto Gear's Muncie SuperCase

Has anyone tried to fit a Auto Gear's Muncie SuperCase in a 67-69 firebird. I was wondering what someone would run into fitting it in. Moving it back slightly due to the larger flange, does the shifter hole need opened up more? Does the Hurst shifter kit work? Would be nice to know all the little issues.

???? Mine was the same external mounting dimensions as an OEM Muncie, just thicker in certain areas.

I sent him an email and he said everything fits. I would just like to hear it from owners that have installed it and see if they ran into any issues with the shifter and console fitment.

I here some issues but I think it was the earlier designs. Like scarebird said his ouput shaft required a different yoke. The Paul has video on altering the shifter adapter. So I would like to here it from someone. that installed to see if they ran into any thing.

What year bird? I thought you had issue with the yoke? Any issue with the shifter moving back and hitting console?

yoke issue yes, buy one from him and have him fit it to the trans, or send a good one to him.

No console but shifter was in stock position.
